Enable Overwrite Protection on Import Data

Scenario: Edited parameters need to be protected against overwrite when importing project data.

  • The conversion tool Desigo Function Checker is opened.
  1. Select the one of the following options:
  • Select an object in the Function Checker browser or
  • Use Ctrl or Shift to select all objects for editing.
  1. Select the General expander.
  1. Select the Overwrite Protection check box.
  1. Click Save .
Information

NOTE:
Check box Overwrite Protection is automatically selected, if changes are made manually in the General expander.
Selected: Manual changes are not overwritten during data import.
Cleared: During the next data import, all changes are lost if the check box is manually cleared.
